Oh how I miss the time in France …

Carmela & Christian got married last weekend while it was snowing here in Zurich / Switzerland.

We started in the morning in Niederhasli & Boppelsen (yes, now you ask where that is - it`s about 30 minutes by car from Zurich) with Carmela & Christian`s getting ready. Carmela had a beautiful dress, so classy with the little bow! We had lots of fun!! During the preparations Carmela got a lot of phonecalls from her relatives & friends, because some of them just didn`t know if they make it to the church because of the snow.

The church was cute and quite crowded with all their guests. The ceremony itself was awesome - really relaxed and happy! After all gratulations and a apero near the church we left with the happy newlyweds to do some portraits.
On our way to Zurich we stopped by to make use of the beautiful snow and sun, it was just great to see Carmela & Christian walking up the snowy field with blue sky!!
Next stop was Zurich - Münsterbrücke. We walked around and used some great locations and Zurich`s landmarks as backgrounds until we left for going to the Rüsterei, where the Reception took place.

The room was absolutely stunning decorated and had a quite special atmosphere with the lights & industrial history you can see in every corner .
All the guests had fun, dinner was great and after a long day Marcus & I were really happy to spent the day with this great couple and all the other guests.

Dear Carmela & Christian, I hope you enjoy your honeymoon! It was such a great and special day and we enjoyed every minute. Thank you so much for everything!!

Also a special “Thank you” goes out to my dear Evelyne of Your Perfect Day. She did a fantastic job planning this wedding! Cannot wait for our next wedding together :))

One of our weddings from last year got a front-page feature on www.TheWeddingchicks.com , which is just unbelievable!!! We are so happy that people from the US, who see so many photos from awesome photographers every day, also like our photos :))

Last weekend we travelled to Interlaken in Switzerland - famous as destination for everyone who wants to go skiing or snowboarding during the winter time.

But this weekend we went there for the civil- and church-wedding of Anja & Oliver.
Friday was a quite relaxed day: We met the couple and their guests for the civil wedding in the afternoon. Anja & Oliver`s pug Lilly was also very excited and had all the attention besides the newlyweds ;) After the short ceremony everyone went by horse sleighs to the unbelievable beautiful Hotel Victoria Jungfrau, where the Salon Rouge was already nicely decorated for the Tea Time.
We ended Friday evening with a cheese fondue (traditional swiss food) inbetween the wedding party.

Saturday then was the big day: I started taking photos early in the morning at a coiffeur in Interlaken, where Anja got ready. Marcus stayed with Oliver at Hotel Krebs where he got dressed up. After Oliver left the Hotel Anja also used their beautiful Honeymoon Suite to take on her wedding dress. It was the perfect location for getting ready photos - a nice hotelroom is always a good decision for getting great photos from the first part of the wedding day.

The church was in Beatenberg, a 15 minutes drive from Interlaken. When you get married in a church in Beatenberg during winter time you can be really sure that it looks all like a winter wonderland up there ;) The ceremony was great and after a short campagne-celebration in the foyer of the church we left to go back to Hotel Krebs for our Portrait session.
I have to tell you that Marcus & I were really looking forward to this part of the day because both hotels were so beautiful and the portraits then at Hotel Krebs and Hotel Victoria Jungfrau turned out so gorgeous. The locations were stunning and Anja & Oliver were quite relaxed.

The evening then ended with the reception at Hotel Victoria Jungfrau with music, party &  lots of surprises for the couple.

Dear Anja & Oliver, thank you for inviting us to spend your wedding weekend with you and your guests. You picked some of the most beautiful locations we have ever seen! We wish you all the best for your future and hope you are enjoying your honeymoon in Hawaii already ;)

As you may recognized we are really passionate about everything we do! And for us every details counts - We love meeting our couples, get to know them, make friends, just do everything to make them feel good when we are around on their wedding day!

Even when the wedding day is over we care. A good example therefore are our Couture DVD cases: Every couple gets a handcraftet, personalized DVD case to store the DVD with all their beautiful wedding photos. We designed these cases ourselves, every little detail was made for giving our couples something they love looking at.

And I have to admit: I`m totally in love with how the cases look like! They have the absolute Tag7-Feeling, just gorgeous. For us any other DVD case wouldn`t be right - we wanted something special for our unique couples.

So 2010 couples watch out - you`ll get a great package after your wedding ;)
