Every Detail counts: Couture DVD cases

As you may recognized we are really passionate about everything we do! And for us every details counts - We love meeting our couples, get to know them, make friends, just do everything to make them feel good when we are around on their wedding day!

Even when the wedding day is over we care. A good example therefore are our Couture DVD cases: Every couple gets a handcraftet, personalized DVD case to store the DVD with all their beautiful wedding photos. We designed these cases ourselves, every little detail was made for giving our couples something they love looking at.

And I have to admit: I`m totally in love with how the cases look like! They have the absolute Tag7-Feeling, just gorgeous. For us any other DVD case wouldn`t be right - we wanted something special for our unique couples.

So 2010 couples watch out - you`ll get a great package after your wedding ;)

Winter-Wedding in Arosa: Natalia & Sandro

This saturday we had the big pleasure to drive to Arosa in Switzerland to cover the fabulous winter wedding of Natalia & Sandro.

When we arrived in Arosa yesterday morning it was like holiday: A winter wonderland with snow everywhere, clear blue sky and warm sun - just perfect!
We met Natalia & Sandro at Hotel Arosa Kulm to start with the portrait shooting. Sure it was great to go out in the snow, have lots of fun and get some amazing photos. Natalia bought some white Moonboots which made everyone laugh :D So cool!
Sure we also took some portraits without snow, the Arosa Kulm was a great place for this occasion.

After the portrait shooting it was time for the ceremony which was held in a church in Arosa. To surprise their guests Natalia & Sandro booked a sleigh ride for all their guests to get from the church to the restaurant Golfhuss Arosa where the apero took place. The restaurant was beautiful, very rustic and with a phenomenal panoramic view of the snowy fields and mountains.

For the dinner we went back to Hotel Arosa Kulm. The panoramic hall was nicely decorated with lots of red roses and great centerpieces. All guests were enjoying the delicious dinner and then it was time to party!!! And believe me - Italians and the Spanish know how to party! ;) It was just great, time went by so fast and we really have to say that the new year could not have started better for us!

Dear Natalia & Sandro, we have to thank you soooo much! You two are such a fantastic couple, it was easy and fun to take relaxed portraits with you. We enjoyed every minute with you guys and your guests. We really appreciate your hospitality & felt like friends. What a perfect day! We`ll remember and tell everyone in a long time! We cannot thank you enough :)

photo09 in Zurich January 15th-18th 2010

A bit late but there are still 2 days where you can see some of our work at the photo09 at Maag Event Hall in Zurich / Switzerland. Lots of photographers from all over Switzerland show some awesome and inspirational work - we are happy to be the only ones who are presenting wedding photography as art there.

So if you are interested in photography or art or want to spend some time around the city and get inspired you can visit the photo09 until tomorrow evening.

Thanks also to Ginger from Tagblatt Zürich who used our photos for illustrating the article for this exhibition! Good to know that wedding photography gets more and more credits :)

Christmas Wedding: Melanie & Pedro

I know I`m a bit late with this blogpost but there is sooo much to do this January. Watch out for some really cool news in the next days, another mountain winter wedding & lots of other stuff to come :)

But now to Melanie & Pedro`s christmas winter wedding in Switzerland:
We met this great couple at our Studio some weeks before their wedding and a fun time chatting about their plans. Their are such an interesting couple as Pedro is originally from Mexico and Melanie from Switzerland but they met in Paris, where they studied once. So we knew it would be a really international wedding wit lots of different languages & people from other countries.

We started on Dec 26th with Melanie & Pedro`s Getting Ready at the Villa of Melanie`s parents. It was fun - all bridesmaids wore cute pink dresses, there were champagne, huge rooms & lots of French- and Spanish-Words.
The room where Melanie got ready was also the place to meet for the first time for them. Afterwards we took some Portraits in the Villa till we left for the ceremony.
The ceremony was held in two languages: Swiss German & Spanish, very special. After it our Newlyweds went right to their car to leave with us for doing some portraits in the area. We went to a field, a wood & the trainstation. Unfortunately there was no snow on that day, as Melanie wished for,  but some nice sunlight and for sure they were just great & natural in front of our cameras.

The Apero was again at the Villa of Melanie`s parents. The rooms were crowded by happy people drinking & eating & celebrating :)
In the early evening all the guests left the Villa for the dinner Location: A nice Italian Restaurant nearby. The evening was great: Marcus & I enjoyed chatting with all the french guests, had delicious italian food & enjoyed the evening in this relaxed atmosphere.

When we had to leave late in the night Melanie said one sentence to me, which really touched my heart: She said that they felt so comfortable with us the whole day. When I arrived to take photos of Melanie`s getting ready that was the moment she calmed down because she felt that there is somebody who knows a lot about weddings and gave her a feeling of safeness.

Dear Melanie & Pedro, we hope you enjoyed the first days as Newlyweds! It was a really special wedding for us, we had lots of fun and always felt so good  with you two and your fantastic guests. It was a great way to end our wedding season of 2009, so glad that we could be with you! We wish you just the best, lots of happiness & love!!
