Hochzeit in Italien: Simone & Stephan

Wedding in Zurich: Monika & Andreas

Some weeks ago we showed on our blog some photos of the amazing engagement-shooting with Monika & Andreas, maybe you remember.
This Friday it was wedding time for the two, and we were so excited to be with them and their guests on this very special day!

We started with the Getting Ready at Hotel Zürichberg. Monika had a really nice dress and I loved taking photos of all the other details! Andreas got ready in another room, so after a few solo-portraits there was the first time they saw each other. Both looked very happy and beautiful!
Of course we could not resist to take some more Portraits with the two of them together at the Hotel, the light was just perfect!

Then we left for some more Portraits in the city of Zurich until it was time for the ceremony at Zunfthaus zur Waag, right in the oldtown of Zurich. The ceremony was held in German and English, as Monika and her family is originally from the UK. We laughed a lot during the ceremony and they had a really rocking singer there, who had ana amzing voice. I really can recommend her : Eve Gallagher

After some champagne and appetisers we took the chance to do some last portraits on the way to the next location. The Schauspielhaus in Zurich and a colourful poster were really great backdrops and complement the other portraits we took before perfectly.
Right after the portraits it started to rain …. and didn`t stopped for that day so we were lucky ones ;)

The location for the evening was the beautifully decorated Hotel Rigiblick also in Zurich. I really have to tell you: The food was AMAZING! A big thank you to the cook!
Everybody had fun during the evening. Monika & Andreas wanted their guests to enjoy the whole evening, so they hired a band which I also can warmly recommend: Jessy Howe & G-Sax
Everything was just perfect, the whole day from beginning to the end.

Dearest Monika & Andreas, we thank you so much for the opportunity to be with you on this special day. We enjoyed every minute with you and your guests! All the details were amazing, you`ve done a pretty good job with planning ;) I bet your guests will never forget this day, us too. We hope you enjoyed the party and have a fantastic honeymoon!

Wedding in Heidelberg: Angela & Peter - Part. 2

This will be the longest blogpost EVER, so if you start reading be sure that you can`t stop ;)

This weekend we had the big, big pleasure to travel to Heidelberg / Germany to take photos and celebrate the wedding of Angela & Peter. One post below you can already see some of the photos from their wonderful civil wedding on Friday. So this post is about their main ceremony on Saturday.

When we met Angela & Peter some months ago we already knew that this weekend will be very, very special: They have planned a fairytail-wedding with american influences and lots of gorgeous details in this romatic city.
On Saturday we started early in the morning at the Hotel Villa Marstall in Heidelberg with the Getting Ready  of our bride and groom. Since the fist moment I was so excited to take photos of all the little Details and the clothes. We could have spent the whole day there and it would not have been boring at any time ;)
Monica, the nice bridesmaid, and David, the great groomsmen, helped our couple to get dressed until we left seperately to the Castle in Heidelberg, where Angela & Peter had the first look at each other in their awsome wedding clothes. It was emotional & stunning, I can`t say any more so please have a look at the photos below and you`ll see how special this moment was!

Then we started a guided tour through the Castle and the garden to take lots of stunning portraits! The location is so unique and romantic, Angela & Peter could not imagine where else to take their wedding photos - best decision ever !

After the portraits we went back to the hotel to have some quiet minutes until it was time for the most important part of the day: The ceremony at the Prinz Carl Palais, which was held by a dear friend.
When the ceremony started Marcus & I already knew that this one will impress us more than every other ceremony before. It was so emotional, full of love & joy, just AMAZING! We are so lucky that we had the chance to share this moments with the newlyweds and their guests.

After the ceremony we went back to the Castle for the Apero within this unbelievable atmospehere, it was a fairytale.
The Location for the evening was the Hotel Europäischer Hof in Heidelberg, which was nicely decorated. The food was great, the atmosphere fantastic and then .. the first dance! It was like the rest of the day: Unbelievable!

Dearest Angela & Peter, we can`t thank you enough for inviting us to share those special days with you. It was hard to find words for all the moments, because we are so happy and thankful for everything. Looking at the photos again makes us smile, we hope you`ll smile, too, when you see them :) You two are the PERFECT match, no doubt! You two are so fantastic personalities, I`m so sure that your new life as husband & wife-team will be even more amazing. So we wish you a fantastic honeymoon and hope to see you soon. Until then enjoy your preview photos, hugs & kisses for you two!

To Monika & David, thank you two for all the help over the day! We should bring our own “Monica & David” to every shoot because now we are so spoiled ;) We enjoyd the time with you and all the great chatting, so thank you very much for everything!

Today was an absolutely amazing day for us: We were so looking forward to this weekend since we met Angela & Peter some months ago. They are such a lovely couple, when you look at the photos you`ll know what I mean ;)

So we travelled this morning to Heidelberg in Germany to take photos and celebrate the first part of their wedding-weekend: The Civil Wedding at the Rathaus in Heidelberg. It was simply emotional, amazing, wonderful … we had soooo much fun being there, spending some time with Angela & Peter and their amazing guests. When you wonder why I write this post in english: Angela is originally from the USA.

As we are still at the Hotel here in Heidelberg so a great, long blogpost will be published on Sunday about their big, big day tomorrow. Please check back soon, because we`ll have a lot more amazing photos to show and then I`m also going to write more about one of my favourite couples ever!
